Kanata Nordic Appoints New Club Coach

XC Ski Nation – Video Technique Tips

From Cross-Country Canada XC Ski Nation, launched in 2016, is an online membership site for cross-country skiers who want in-depth, up-to-date information about Nordic ski technique as practiced by the top skiers in the world. CCC and XC Ski Nation will co-produce new skiing technique and drill videos for the joint benefit of XC Ski Nation members and NCCP coaches. First Skijoring Fundamentals Clinic a Success

The Mush Larose Association skijoring racers who train at the Kanata Nordic trails offered a skijoring fundamentals clinic on Sunday, December 4th, at the Wesley Clover campgrounds. The clinic was attended by 9 participants interested in teaching their dogs to skijor. They were familiarized with the harnesses and lines used for the sport and given pointers on finding the appropriate size and style of harness for their dogs. Skijoring Teams Back to Train at Kanata Nordic for the 2016/17 Season

The Mush Larose Association skijoring racers are happy to be back to train at the Kanata Nordic trails for the 2016/17 season. This year the training times have changed to Wednesday mornings from 10:00am to 12:00pm and Sunday mornings from 8:00am to 10:00am. Again this year the skijorers will be taking steps to minimize the impact on other trail users.
