Training – Week of Jan 24

Well done everyone that was out for training on Saturday.  Everyone seemed to be well prepared and dressed appropriately for the weather.

-Tuesday Jan-25th 6:30-8:00 pm; Ski SKATE technique at Beaverbrook Park (behind Mlacak Community Centre off Campeau Drive).  Drive along the south side of the building and around to the back behind the Senior’s Centre.  We will be on the field(s)   We will be skiing on the course(s) for the Kanata Pretzel Races on February 6th.  (Harris & Steve)
 
-Thursday Jan-27th 6:30 to 8:00 pm:  Mlacak Centre again to ski the courses in.  We will be doing distance with some intervals.  SKATE.  Conclude with a time trial and cooldown.  (Mike & Steve)

  
-Saturday Jan-29th 8:30 to 11:00 am .  Gatineau Park – P5 :  Those doing classic bring both sets of skis.  We will start with classic.   If possible will practice mass starts  and manouvering around pylons etc, with Paranordics, using SKATE.
 
Sunday Jan-23rd 9:00 am to 1:30 pm.  Tay Valley Loppet at Murphy’s Point Provincial Park. Alternative is Pembroke Skate Race.  I will be at the Tay Valley.  Please refer to previous notifications and deadline for registration.
