Snowshoe Trails
Snowshoeing at Kanata Nordic
Kanata Nordic offers several snowshoe trail options from its upper trailhead (Corkstown Road entrance at the two red Kanata Nordic flags). You can start the large loop on either side of the main cabin. Just follow the orange snowshoer signs, and the red and orange flagging tape on the trees.
Snowshoe day passes are $7. Children 12 and under and Kanata Nordic members are free. You can pay at the trailheads or buy a pass online.
Snowshoe trails are marked on the Winter Trails Network Map.
You are also welcome to go on walking and backcountry trails or bushwhack — but please DO NOT snowshoe on the groomed ski trails, neither on the parallel tracks nor the smooth section in the centre (this is groomed for skate skiing). The snowshoe trails do cross ski trails so please walk directly across.
