Want to lead a conga line on skis? Opportunity to be a Bunnyrabbit or Jackrabbit Leader

Develop your skiing and help younger skiers learn to ski by becoming a trained coach and volunteering to be a leader. We are looking for leaders and assistant leader volunteers for our Bunnyrabbit and Jackrabbit programs. Only basic skiing skills are needed to start. Kanata Nordic proposed to hire a full-time club coach, on a contract basis, starting this coming season. Article 4.4 of our bylaws state that “any proposed expenditures that would exceed $5,000 shall be approved in advance by the membership at a General Meeting”. Support Local Ski Club: Nakkertok could win $250K for snowmaking that would support the whole region!

Nakkertok submitted an application to the Kraft Heinz Project Play contest (www.kraftheinzprojectplay.com) to seek funding to support snowmaking at Nakkertok South and have been named on of four finalists from 821 applicants from across the country. As a finalist, Nakkertok is now eligible to receive $20,000 to support the deployment of snowmaking at Nakkertok South and is also able to compete for the Grand Prize of $250,000. 2016 Chelsea Cookie Beiner

This coming Saturday March 5 is the Cookie Beiner at the Chelsea Nordiq. All advanced skiers are invited to take part in this fun cookie loving ski-venture in the Gatineau Park.
