Kanata Nordic Adopts Revised SafeSport Policies

Kanata Nordic has adopted the Nordiq Canada and Cross-Country Ski Ontario’s (XCSO) policies for Safe Sport. https://www.kanatanordic.ca/governance-bylaws

These policies give our club a clear set of guidelines for providing a safe environment for athletes, coaches, and volunteers. Adoption and implementation of these policies are mandatory for any club that is affiliated with XCSO. 

Kanata Nordic is a place where everyone feels welcome and safe to be able to fully enjoy the sport of cross country skiing at any skill level. Adopting these policies wasn’t difficult.
