Club Skinouk Needs Our Help!

Gatineau’s Club Skinouk will host the best cross country skiers from the Maritimes, Quebec and Ontario at the Eastern Canadian Championships February 11, 12, 13, 2011. With the support of Cross Country Canada, this competition has been added to the Haywood Canada Cup, which permits competitors to accumulate points for Canadian standings. Races will be held on Nakkertok-South trails in Cantley QC. Close to 600 competitors are expected to participate.

Like Kanata Nordic, Club Skinouk is a member of the National Capital Division of Cross Country Ontario and thus part of our local xc ski community. Let’s support them by lending a hand for this national-level racing event! It’s a great way to show our community spirit, to learn about how a race is organized and to see some impressive skiing.
