New Trial Trail

We're launching an experiment!Kanata Nordic is reaching out to the local community by grooming the National Capital Commission (NCC)' 5.5 km Watts Creek Pathway from where it intersects with Corkstown Rd. at Moodie Dr. to March Rd. Winter Rentals 2020

Thanks to a generous grant in autumn 2018 from the Ottawa Community Foundation, Kanata Nordic now has a modest fleet of rental ski packages, snowshoes, and headlamps. The ski shop is located at the main Kanata Nordic entrance, in Cabin D, in front of the chalet (see trail map). Magic of Lights at Wesley Clover Parks, Nov 17, 2017 – Jan 6, 2018

Once again this year the holiday season will be ‘illuminated’ by the Magic of Lights display in the evenings. It’s a new name and expanded route through the campground roads. When the display is operational there is NO SKIER OR VEHICLE ACCESS to the roads in use for it, even during the daytime. Upcoming Leader Training & Opportunity to be a Leader!

Develop your skiing and help younger skiers learn to ski by becoming a trained coach and volunteering to be a leader. We are looking for leaders and assistant leader volunteers for our Bunnyrabbit and Jackrabbit programs. Only basic skiing skills are needed to start.
